Who is Avalin Design Construction Co.?

 

Avalin Design Construction Co. has been performing the following services in Southern California since 1991:

Seismic Retrofitting, House Bolting, Foundation Bolting, Cripple Wall Bracing, Soft Story Retrofitting, Shear Walls, Sister Foundations, Foundation Underpinning, and Foundation Repair.

We are official contractors in the California Earthquake Authority’s Earthquake Brace + Bolt program.

ATC-50 Retrofit Study

Due to the high economic losses from the 1994 Northridge earthquake, Richard Riordan, the mayor of  the City of Los Angeles, asked the Blue Ribbon Panel for Seismic Hazard Reduction to investigate the damage and economic loss. 

Avalin Design Construction Co. was asked to recommend L.A. Department of Building and Safety any changes that may improve future Guidelines in order to help homes at risk for Earthquakes
